Game of the Year Winner - Elden Ring
The Game Awards described this category as “recognising a game that delivers the absolute best experience across creative and technical fields”. The winner, Elden Ring has been widely praised for its vast yet detailed open world, compelling narrative and of course, peak of the genre combat, which helped it beat God of War Ragnarök, amongst others, to the top spot.
