PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be receiving new content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 over the next few weeks.
Activision has kicked off the downloadable content release schedule for the PlayStation 3 version of the game this week with the launch of the Liberation and Piazza maps, which hit Xbox 360 in January.
This will be followed by the Overwatch arena on March 29th, with more than 20 extra maps, modes and missions set to be released over the coming nine months.
Meanwhile, Xbox 360 owners will be treated to the Content Collection #1 DLC pack on March 20th, a compilation of all the new features that have been released on Xbox thus far.
This includes the Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box maps, as well as the new Special Ops missions Black Ice and Negotiator.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was the top-selling game of last year and is one of ten titles that fans can vote for as the winner of the annual GAME Award for 2011.
