How to buy a Gift Card Online
We have a range of pre-paid Gift Cards available to buy online and these can be purcahsed just as you would purchase any other product on the site - see our selection.
How to buy a Gift Card in a GAME Store
Please take your Gift Card to any till and tell the member of staff the monetary value you want to add to the Gift Card (from £1 up to a limit of £500). You will then be asked to pay for the Gift Card in the usual way. After paying, you will be provided with a receipt showing the value of the Gift Card and the Gift Card will be ready to use.
How to use the Gift Card
The Gift Card can be used in full or part payment of absolutely any products available in GAME stores in the UK (except GAME concessions within department stores). The purchase price of the chosen product(s) will be deducted from the balance on the Gift Card and any amount left on the Gift Card will be shown on the receipt. If you want to know the balance on the Gift Card at any time, just take the Gift Card to any till and a member of staff will be happy to tell you.
Topping up a Gift Card
If at any time you want to top-up the amount on the Gift Card, simply take the Gift Card to any till, tell the member of staff the monetary value you want to add and pay in the usual way.
Buying eGift Vouchers
eGift Vouchers are gift vouchers for use in our online store. They are electronic, unlike physical Store Gift Cards, and are sent out via email.
How do I get them?
- Just pick the value and amount of eGift Vouchers you would like to buy and add them to your basket. They are available in values of £10, £20, £30, £50 and £100, and you can buy more than one if you like. Recipients can redeem multiple eGift Vouchers in one transaction.
- We'll then ask you where you want them emailed. You can have them sent straight to the person you are buying them for, or to yourself if you prefer. If you're buying vouchers for different people then you'll either have to make separate orders, or have them sent to yourself so you can send them on. You'll then need to tell us when you want them sent – straight away or on a particular day (wiithin 6 months of the order date).
- You can then add a personalised message and set an age restriction on their use if you don't want Little Johnny or Susie using them to buy things they're not old enough for.
- You can preview your eGift Voucher, and when you're happy with it you can continue on through Checkout and we'll send them out on the required date.
