Combining the story with a unique visual style, this award-winning game is a must-play!

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – 93/100

Winner of multiple awards, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was a huge success at launch. It was praised for its wide variety of options to tackle every situation; AI that would adapt to your playstyle; one of the best soundtracks in gaming; and for being an original take on the hugely popular franchise. Sneak your way through a huge open-world utilizing all kinds of gadgets and devices to remain undetected, or go in all guns blazing with helicopter support.

God of War – 94/100

God of War received near-perfect reviews and it is easy to see why! To put it simply, the game is a masterpiece. The music, the storyline, the combat… it all seamlessly connects to create a compelling story within an expansive and beautiful world. This game transforms Kratos from an angry God into a father trying to keep his son safe. It is a powerful and unforgettable game with incredibly detailed graphics that makes the world a delight to explore.

It is confirmed God of War will be available as part of the new PS Plus Collection launching on PS5.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End – 93/100

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is undoubtedly one of the greatest adventures in the series. This remarkable game is commended for its blockbuster cinematic storytelling and graphical beauty. The action flows seamlessly with the storytelling complimented by gorgeous cinematography showcasing the detailed world. The game went on to be nominated and win multiple awards including Adventure Game of the Year.

Unchartered 4: A Thief’s End will also feature on the new PS Plus Collection launching on PS5.

The Last of Us Part 2 – 93/100

The Last of Us Part II gave brutality, emotion, and humility to this generation of gaming. Its poetic storyline and heavy combat are unlike any other game- except maybe the first The Last of Us. Released in 2020, Naughty Dog brought us new, intricate characters with wonderfully crafted backstories to The Last of Us Part II. Alongside the harsh reality of a post-apocalyptic landscape, you find yourself loving, hating, and loving characters within a matter of minutes as they are thrust into gruesome scenario, making you question your own morals.

The Last of Us Part II certainly sets itself apart from any other game of this generation and, in our opinion, is a must play

Forza Horizon 4 – 92/100

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – 91/100

Ori and the Will of the Wisps – 90/100

Ori and the Will of the Wisps had a lot to live up to, and it successfully builds on the distinctive gameplay that the series is known for! The big open-world platformer is accompanied with atmospheric music that echoes your success and the moments of tension. Everywhere bursts with fine detail with each region feeling distinctly differently and crawling with life. The storyline will pull at your heart strings and is full of enchanting characters to meet.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – 87/100

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is one of the biggest and most vibrant yet. This game was vastly different to its predecessor, giving players the freedom to who they want to be in the fantastical world of Ancient Greece. Combat feels more progressive, with special attacks that leave you feel like the best mercenary around. If that’s not enough, Odyssey has three beautifully crafted main tales that seem much more personal to your protagonist. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has it all and is a joy to explore for hours on end.
