GAME's Most Wanted in 2016

2015 was a brilliant year for gaming, and with a huge number of spectacular titles on the horizon, 2016 looks just as awesome! With so many massive titles inbound, here at GAME we decided to have a vote for our most wanted games of 2016.

It was difficult to choose, but after long deliberation and heated arguments we managed to cobble together our most wanted games. Check out some of our selections below.

CARL

1. Halo Wars 2

I literally screamed like a little girl when this was announced! I played the first Halo Wars so much I actually had to replace the disc as it stopped working. I’ve been waiting for this for so long, I cannot wait to sink my teeth into it!

GREG

1. Tom Clancy's The Division

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has left me eagerly anticipating The Division. If Ubisoft's servers can handle the load from the get-go, we're on to a winner.

3. World of Warcraft: Legion

ALEX

1. The Legend of Zelda HD

A truly open-world Legend of Zelda game. What more do I need to say, really?

ASHLEY

1. Quantum Break

This game looks absolutely fascinating! I hugely enjoyed how unique and fun Alan Wake was to play, a game from the same developers just screams greatness to me. Controlling time in a really unique modern shooter looks amazing!

JAMIE W

1. Deus Ex Mankind Divided

Deus Ex games always have a great, slick style to them & the promise of more cyberpunk adventuring with our gravelly-voiced buddy Adam Jensen is super exciting. I, for one, welcome our new cyborg overlords.

JONATHAN

1. Total War: Warhammer

To tip a cap to the Old World (now truly old) this game looks fantastic! I can't wait for my mighty Orc Armies to lay waste to all!

SAM

1. Overwatch

Can't wait for this class based shooter to come to consoles, from the footage we've seen so far, this is definitely not one to miss next year.

MARK

1. Trackmania Turbo

Got hands on with Trackmania Turbo at E3 last year and quite possibly the most addictive fun racer I have played. Extremely fast and looks beautiful, can't wait for this!

LUCY

1. No Man's Sky

Sensationally beautiful art style, over 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 (18 quintillion) possible planets to explore... and no loading screens? Count. Me. In.

JON D

1. Persona 5

I've spend many commutes to work engrossed in Persona 4 Golden on the PlayStation Vita, I'll quite happily spend many more with Persona 5 on the PlayStation 4.

IMOGEN

1. Mass Effect Andromeda

Mass Effect is my favourite franchise of all time. Shep's story might be over, but I cannot wait to see what Bioware has in store for us, especially with the power of next gen hardware.

JOSH S

1. Horizon Zero Dawn

We know very little about this new title, but the neo-tribal feeling mixed with Assassin's Creed-like mechanics already has me very excited for this!

TOM D

1. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Come on now, who isn't excited for one last adventure with Nathan, Sully, Elena and co? Uncharted 4 is going to be the icing on Naughty Dog's brilliant series cake, and I can't wait.

STEVE

1. South Park: The Fractured But Whole

The Stick of Truth was hilarious, but it was a brilliant game at the same time. I expect more of the same from The Fractured But Whole.

Tom

TOM

1. Crackdown

Four player coop city wide destruction... need I say more?!

Nathan

NATHAN

1. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Great franchise, improved New Gen graphics, impressive Multiplayer. Nathan Drake never disappoints.

2. WWE 2K17

Nick L

NICK

1. Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide

Any time I can kill lots of bipedal giant rats with friends is a good time!

Dom

DOM

1. Mirror's Edge Catalyst

I absolutely loved the first Mirror’s Edge, it brought something entirely new to the table which no other game really had a grasp on. The free-roaming aspect looks to open up the world for more ways to traverse the city.

Amy

AMY

1. Pokemon Red on 3DS Virtual Console

There's no words. I'm counting down the days until Professor Oak hands over that Charmander.
