Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, one of the year's most anticipated sequels, is to get an online demo next week.
Publisher LucasArts has confirmed that a trial version of the sci-fi action game is coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, allowing players to get a taster of the title's new gameplay features.
The game puts players in control of Darth Vader's all-powerful secret apprentice Starkiller, who must journey to the cloning planet Kamino to discover the secrets of his past.
During the demo, players will have a chance to explore the rain-soaked Kamino, as featured in the movie Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, as well as trying out new abilities such as dual lightsaber combat and the famous Jedi mind trick.
It will help to ramp up excitement for the release of the full Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II game next month, with the title set to arrive on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS and PC.
A special Collector's Edition is also due to be launched, including extra in-game content and additional bonuses stored on a designer USB flash drive.
