Playing the Lego Indiana Jones computer game is at times "even more hilarious than having proper actors play the scenes out", it has been stated by a game critic.
Catherine Tuckwell states in her review on blogcritics.org that playing as Lego characters provides laughter to the game and George Lucus may have been better off making a Lego Indiana Jones Trilogy movie instead of a fourth Indy movie.
She states that "not since Wii Sports Boxing has fighting been so much fun", as she takes advantage of throwing around furniture and grabbing hold of any object within reach.
Other added thrills of the game include the fact that gamers need not be acquainted with the title to be able to master the game.
Also gamers have to play the three films in chronological order, but they do not have to necessarily begin with Raiders of the Lost Ark and work through to The Last Crusade, although this would make the most sense.
