New Star Wars: The Force Unleashed content released

The smash hit sci-fi adventure Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has just gotten bigger thanks to the release of a new downloadable level.

Owners of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of the action game can now download a new single-player level, which is the concluding part of the Infinities storyline commenced in a previously released DLC package.

Once again playing as Darth Vader's powerful secret apprentice Starkiller, the new mission sees players take to the iconic ice world of Hoth from the movie The Empire Strikes Back, as they look to wipe out the Rebel Alliance.

Gamers who reach the end of the level will get to take part in an epic showdown which sees Starkiller take on the heroic Luke Skywalker himself.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has proved a major hit since being released in September 2008, selling more than seven million copies worldwide.

The character of Starkiller, meanwhile, has also appeared as a guest fighter in Namco's SoulCalibur IV, alongside Darth Vader and Yoda.
