Batman: Arkham Asylum hits PC this week

Gamers itching to get their hands on the PC version of the new comic book adventure Batman: Arkham Asylum have been reminded that the title launches this week.

Players who opt for the PC edition of the action game will be able to enjoy an enhanced experience powered by NVIDIA PhysX technology.

This means that the world of Batman: Arkham Asylum will be made more realistic than ever, as dust, paper and cobwebs react realistically to the Dark Knight as he passes by.

Such additional details will add to the immersion of the acclaimed adventure, which sees the famous superhero face off against his arch-nemesis The Joker in the famous asylum, which has been taken over by its inmates.

Voice talent is provided by Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, the stars of the classic 1990s show Batman: The Animated Series.

The title has already proven a major hit among console gamers and critics, with Guinness World Records recently naming it the most acclaimed superhero title of all time.
