Fable 2 is 'irresistible'

With gamers able to get their hands on the long awaited Fable 2 since Friday, one review has stated that it ranks right at the top of the best computer games that a person can buy.

A review from The Edge states that it "ranks with the best videogames can offer" in terms of its "onward-rushing adventure story" and the title includes a "patchwork of characters and side-quests" that help to make the game appealing.

Gamers are given the chance to live any life they please in the title in an open, fictional world environment called Albion.

Players follow a story but while doing so can effectively do whatever they wish, according to the review.

This ranges from seducing someone's husband to breaking into someone's house and filtering through their possessions to attracting a crowd of passers by with some nifty dancing and then raising a finger to them.

Overall, the review states that "Fable 2 is a world that is worth wasting time in. It's a laugh to wind up the villagers, make silly faces for the children and wink at the barmaids".

Fable 2 is a role playing game that "builds gradually and then becomes irresistible".
