Telltale would like to make a James Bond game, please

The adventure game geniuses at Telltale would like to turn their attention to 007, company president Kevin Bruner has revealed. The revelation comes from an interview with Official Xbox Magazine, in which Bruner was asked which character or property he dreams of working on, if copyright and budget wasn't an issue.

"I'm a giant James Bond fan and I'm always frustrated by games that make him a mass murderer," he replied. "He's a super-spy, and that's a different skillset. The films make him less of a mass murderer, and there's not much killing in the books - more spying and intrigue."

The most recent James Bond games, such as 007 Legends, GoldenEye Reloaded, Blood Stone and Quantum of Solace, were published by Activision, which won the brand from EA back in 2006. Activision's deal only lasted to this year, however, and it removed all its 007 games from digital download stores last year, so Telltale's dream may not be so far-fetched after all.

Of course, the Telltale team doesn't have a lot of spare time at the moment. It recently launched the first episode of The Wolf Among Us, based on the cult comic series Fables, as well the second season of the award-winning The Walking Dead. It also announced it will be creating adventure games based on Game of Thrones and Borderlands as well.
