Toukiden 2 (PlayStation 4)

Toukiden 2 is set in a fictional world where humans face an ongoing struggle for peace against evil demons known as the "Oni". The player takes control of a Slayer, a warrior who fights the Oni, and after fighting in the great conflict "the Awakening" finds themselves awoken with complete memory loss in the village of Mahoroba. Hakase hires them to join her retag group in an Oni-slaying quest for the truth behind "the Awakening".

Features

Explore an expansive open world! – Freely available from the start, adventure through an open world overtaken by a deadly miasma. Staying out in the field can have deadly consequences, so players must strategise and gradually establish footholds along their travels.

New and improved combat system – Cut off and destroy the Oni’s various body parts with the ‘Targeted Destruction’ system. As their limbs are destroyed, the Oni will greatly vary their attack patterns offering a new level of variety to combat.

Get an upper-hand in battle using the extremely powerful ‘Demon Demise’ attacks. These powerful special attacks eradicate the Oni’s body parts within a flash, and are charged by building the Unity Gauge during battle.

Traverse the environment in all new ways, using ‘Demon Bind’ and ‘Oni Smash’. Latch onto rocks and trees to reach new areas with ‘Demon Bind’, granting access to areas far out of reach, or destroy obstacles blocking the path with ‘Oni Smash’.
