The Division takes place in New York three weeks after a lethal virus, released on Black Friday, has swept through the city. One by one, basic services have failed. Society has collapsed into chaos. The President invokes Presidential Directive 51, and The Division, a top-secret unit of self-supporting tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives, Division agents are trained to operate independently of command in this type of emergency situation. When the lights go out, their mission begins.
This is a third person shooter with the RPG element infused, with perks, abilities and a quite comprehensive crafting and trading system. Create and customize your character, to be whoever you want him or her to be. Discover the very precise and beautiful reproduction of New York, completing story bound or side missions, either as a lonewolf, or with a party of 4. Costumize your character to either heal, deal damage og tank. Do whatever fits to your and your party's needs.
Via a tablet you can support your friends playing as a drone that provides health and other necessary materials in battle.
