Brit developer Rebellion has announced that Zombie Army, its brilliant horror spin-off from the Sniper Elite series, is getting a console makeover.
There have been two titles in the series so far, with the most recent released for PC last year. In each one, you carry over the same weaponry and skills from the Sniper Elite games but must now use them to defeat the Nazi's army of undead creatures. The iconic slow motion bullet-cam is still present and correct, for maximum gore.
An extra Zombie Army game is in development, and will be bundled with the existing two to create a trilogy compilation. There will be eight playable characters, including four new female snipers created especially for this digital boxset. A wave-based horde mode will also be added.
Zombie Army Trilogy is set for release early this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
