Sherlock Holmes returns to gaming on September 30th, courtesy of long time mystery game creator Frogwares. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

The game is a fully 3D adventure, rendered in Unreal Engine 3. You'll be able to roam foggy Victorian London in first or third-person perspective, and investigate six mysteries. Each crime scene will be fully explorable, and for the first time in the series there will be multiple ways through each storyline. Each of the six cases has nine possible endings, based on how thorough your investigations are.

In a nod to the popular modern day Sherlock TV series, the game will also offer "Sherlock Vision", where you can see the world through the eyes of the world's greatest detective and discover details that ordinary people would miss.

As the title suggests, you'll even be able to make a judgement at the end of each investigation, and decide whether to turn the culprit over to Inspector Lestrade or let them go to deal with their own conscience.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments is out on September 30th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
