Pokemon fans will once again be catching 'em all this autumn with the release of Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2, Nintendo has revealed.
The brand new instalments of the phenomenally popular monster-hunting series will arrive on Nintendo DS and will be direct sequels to last year's Pokemon Black and White versions.
It is the first time that any games in the core Pokemon series have received numerical sequels, with the stars of the two new versions revealed as Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, a pair of strange mutant versions of the powerful Kyurem.
Pokemon Black and White were released in March 2011 and broke new sales records for the series in Europe, shifting a million copies within ten days of release.
Representing something of a fresh start for the franchise, Black and White transported players to a brand new region called Unova and introduced more than 150 new monsters, including Tepig, Snivy, Oshawott, Reshiram and Zekrom.
