He's gaming's first ever superstar character, and both old fans and newcomers alike will be able to sample his illustrious history when Bandai Namco releases Pac-Man Museum later this month.
The compilation brings together a whole host of Pac-Man games from over the years. The full line-up includes Pac & Pal, Pac-Attack, Pac-Land, Pac-Man, Pac-Man Battle Royale, Pac-Man Remix, Pac-Mania, and Super Pac-Man. That's a whole lot of Pac.
It arrives with Pac-Man fever on the rise again, thanks to the hit Disney XD cartoon show, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. The series finds Pac-Man as the last of the Pac people, tasked with guarding the world from the ghostly forces of Betrayus. When the Netherworld seal is broken, Pac-Man teams up with his friends Cylindria and Spiral, plus the now-friendly original four ghosts from the arcade game, to save the day.
A game based on the TV show is also incoming, and due on March 7th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U and 3DS. The Pac-Man Museum compilation is out first, arriving on February 26th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
