One Piece Unlimited Cruise Special coming to 3DS
Nintendo and Namco Bandai are teaming up to bring a new game based on the popular anime and manga franchise One Piece to Europe in February 2012.
One Piece Unlimited Cruise Special is an enhanced remake of the hit Wii title One Piece Unlimited Cruise Part 1: Adventure Beneath the Waves and will be the first 3DS adventure for Monkey D Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirate crew.
Playing as nine different characters, players will adventure through four different island locales, battling familiar enemies, collecting items and experiencing more than 50 hours of One Piece action.
New to the 3DS edition is Marineford Mode, which allows fans to relive famous moments from the series' Marineford storyline in the guise of some of their favourite characters.
One Piece's popularity has meant that it has spawned a number of videogame tie-ins, including the recent Nintendo DS title One Piece: Gigant Battle.
