MXGP, the official game of the world Motocross Championships, will be released on March 28th, developer Milestone has revealed. The studio has years of experience in racing games, having previously developed the WRC rally series, the SBK superbike games and the MotoGP franchise.

MXGP will feature 60 riders, 60 bikes, 14 tracks and rules from the official MX1 and MX2 2013 FIM Motocross World Championship. A new career mode will allow racers to rise up the ranks of the real life tournament, while improved physics, deforming terrain and motion-captured riders will offer greater realism.

"MXGP, The Official Motocross Videogame represents the return of Motocross for Milestone," according to marketing and sales director Luisa Bixio. "This new rebranding brings a host of new features that we will unveil during the coming months - additions we're sure Motocross fans will be ecstatic about."

MXGP: The Official Motocross Videogame will be available for PC, PS3, PS Vita and Xbox 360.
