NBA 2K12 introduces Legends Showcase DLC
NBA 2K12 fans will be able to experience new challenges with some of the world's greatest players in a new downloadable content offering called Legends Showcase.
Available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the new DLC allows players to select from more than 300 all-star athletes and take part in authentic pick-up games, ranging from one-on-one contests to full five vs five matches.
Featuring legends such as Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, the mode offers a new cel-shaded art style and a wide selection of minigames and special challenges.
Players can also unlock and import modern-day icons or their own custom-created athletes for unique match-ups.
Greg Thomas, president of product development for 2K Sports, said: "The new modes and legends will provide NBA fans with even more content to satisfy their professional basketball fix."
Released last month, NBA 2K12 is the latest in the world's best-selling basketball franchise and has received substantial critical acclaim.
