Konami has announced that the forthcoming Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is to be released on the new PlayStation Vita handheld.
The compilation pack of super-agent Solid Snake's greatest adventures will be coming to the high-tech portable console next year, following its debut on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this November.
As well as announcing the PS Vita version, Konami revealed that the HD Collection will include the original MSX Metal Gear game that started it all, in addition to its sequel Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.
Also confirmed for the set will be the full selection of special VR Missions that were included in the PlayStation 2 release Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance.
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is set to bring together three of the series' most acclaimed entries - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Each will include overhauled graphics and support for Trophies and Achievements.
