Ubisoft's pirate-themed addition to the Assassin's Creed saga is on its way later this year but before it arrives in port, no doubt singing a saucy sea shanty as it goes, the publisher has revealed the special Buccaneer Edition which will be exclusive to GAME in the UK.
Adding some hefty weight to the package, and settings its sights on your mantlepiece, will be a top quality figurine of new assassin hero Edward Kenway, atop the crow's nest of his ship, the Jackdaw. This will be accompanied by a high quality artbook and the game's soundtrack. You'll also get two lithographs in a protective envelope (in case they fall overboard, presumably) and the whole thing will be contained inside a special collector's case. Digital goodies include bonus in-game content, but Ubisoft is keeping details of those close to its (dead man's) chest for now.
There'll also be the Skull Edition, which comes in a jumbo steel case and contains all the same stuff, with the exception of the figurine. What if you only want the in-game content? The basic Assassin's Creed IV Special Edition is exclusive to GAME, and comes with just the downloadable extras for the same price as the normal game.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag takes the series to the high seas from November on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii U and next gen consoles.
