Off the shores of the Galar region you will find the picturesque Isle of Armor! Explore beaches, bogs, forests, caves, and dunes amongst the beautiful nature.
You will take up an apprenticeship under the former Galar Champion, Mustard, who is also the mentor of Champion Leon! Along your adventure you will meet new rivals who will test your skills as you master new fighting styles with the Legendary Pokémon: Kubfu.
Get bigger and better –you will also be able to Gigantamax the final Evolution of your chosen partner Pokémon that you started your journey with.
The Crown Tundra – Out Now
As the chills of Winter arrive, you lead an expedition to the snowy realm of Crown Tundra to unravel the mystery of the Legendary Pokémon Calyrex who once ruled over it.
Introducing a new form of co-op play, delve deeper into Pokémon Dens than ever before. On your journey you may see Legendary Pokémon from previous games Dynamaxing before your eyes, and you can also catch them too!

The Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass is only compatible with Pokémon Sword for Nintendo Switch. If you are playing Pokémon Shield, please choose the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass. If you are playing both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield and would like access to the Expansion Pass content in both games, both the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass and the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass are required.
