Best Star Wars Games Banner

To celebrate the decorated gaming history of Star Wars, let us take a look at some of the best Star Wars games over the years. There has been a bounty of adventures in the galaxy far far away, so we’re going to name a few epic Star Wars games that every Padawan, Sith, Jedi, Wookie and Mandalorian can enjoy.

Buckle up, get ready for some nostalgia and most importantly, may the force be with you - always!

Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws

Having launched in late August this year, Star Wars Outlaws has already rippled shockwaves amongst gamers. Touted as the first true open-world, single-player Star Wars game, Outlaws has had a bit of a shaky start with some bugs creeping into launch. However, put aside those bug issues and we have ourselves a stunning game that seriously captures the look and feel of the Star Wars universe.

Gameplay-wise, Outlaws shifts away from the typical lightsaber acrobatics and instead veers towards a stealth combat system that leaves you feeling like a cunning scoundrel.

The story is nothing short of impressive, too. We follow Kay Vess and her reptilian companion, Nix, as they venture through familiar planets to hunt down high-key targets and take part in galactic heists.

Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic

Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic originally released in 2003 and is the first RPG set in the Star Wars universe. Knights of the Old Republic (KotOR) is widely regarded as one of the best Star Wars games ever made and it’s easy to see why. KotOR transports you to the time of the ancient Galactic Republic, thousands of years before A New Hope, and allows you to traverse iconic planets in the Star Wars universe such as Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Korriban and more. Players can serve either the light side or the dark side of the Force using game systems that track the players actions, through dialogue choices and decision making.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic holds a firm place in the hearts of Star Wars fans and has won many awards, so we simply had to honour it in our list of the best Star Wars games!

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a more recent Star Wars game and combines deep exploration of iconic Star Wars worlds - such as Mustafar and almost Souls - like combat. Fallen Order’s gameplay feels like a classic third person action adventure, which compliments Star Wars very well.

Play as Jedi Padawan, and Order 66 survivor, Cal Kestis as he flees from hunters specially trained by none other than Darth Vader. On this journey you must master Jedi abilities, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies. Stormtroopers, droids and purge troopers are some of the key enemies to face throughout the story, alongside epic bosses who may also wield lightsabers and the Force. Take down these enemies, large vehicles such as AT-ST’s and even wild beasts using your special abilities and the Force.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a fantastic game for Star Wars fans and a great adventure for those who aren't versed in the Star Wars franchise.

The overall story of Jedi Knight 2 follows Kyle Katarn, a former Jedi turned mercenary. Players can wield blasters for shooting, lightsabers for melee combat and even Force powers against enemies.
