Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Release Date: 12th October 2013
There's even more to catch this October with the release of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y on Nintendo 3DS.
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are the first Pokémon games to launch on Nintendo's 3D handheld system, and promise to add a host of new features to the traditional catch 'em all gameplay the series is famed for. Taking full advantage of the power and 3D graphics of the 3DS, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y replace the simple, top-down gameplay with a 3D world, complete with cel-shaded graphics and a dynamic camera system that takes you to the heart of the action.
Traditional Pokémon like Pikachu and Psyduck are set to return, alongside brand new creatures like Fire Pokémon Fennekin, grass monster Chespin and the frog-like Froakie. They'll be joined by two mysterious new Legendary Pokémon, shaped like the letters X and Y respectively.
