PlayStation Vita Consoles
The PlayStation Vita combines the best of the PSP with features from the PlayStation 3 to create a sleek handheld like no other.
There are two kinds of PS Vita available, Wi-Fi and 3G, so you have the choice of how much you want to connect online. The Wi-Fi version gives you online access to anywhere with free Wi-Fi. The 3G version comes with a Vodafone Top Up Sim Card, meaning you'll have greater internet access wherever you go, as long as you still have credit.
As well as playing its own games, some of which are only available through PlayStation Network, the PlayStation Vita is backwards compatible with PSP games, but only when played through PSN as there is no separate UMD drive. Any PSN games you have already downloaded for your PSP can be carried over to your PS Vita. there is also the opportunity for CrossPlay with PlayStation 3 on certain titles, including WipEout 2048 and PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale.
The PS Vita requires PS Vita Memory Cards to play games. These are sold separately and come in sizes from 4GB to 32GB. The rechargable battery lasts for around 3-5 hours of gameplay, 5 hours of video and up to 9 hours of music playback, depending on the settings you use.
