At the recent Spike Video Game Awards, Microsoft confirmed that developer Turn 10's newest simulation racing title will be arriving exclusively on Xbox 360 in autumn 2011, bringing Kinect support to the series for the first time.
Using the hit motion-sensing peripheral, players will be able to virtually enter the game's many real-life cars and experience the action from the driver's seat, while standard controller-based racing will also be offered.
However, there is more to Forza Motorsport 4 than new controls, as the title will also be offering refined physics, new tracks and vehicles and more customisation options than ever.
Additionally, it will include content from the popular TV show Top Gear, thanks to a deal struck between Microsoft and BBC Worldwide earlier this year.
Fans will be hoping the game can live up to the standard set by the acclaimed Forza Motorsport 3, which scored an impressive average rating of 92 out of 100 on Metacritic.
