EA unveils My Garden for Nintendo 3DS

EA has revealed that it will be bringing a state-of-the-art gardening game to Nintendo's eagerly-anticipated new 3DS console.

The publisher has unveiled My Garden at the Tokyo Game Showcase, a title which will allow players to cultivate a vibrant, colourful garden populated by hundreds of varieties of plants and flowers.

With the assistance of an adorable magical sidekick called Tanuki, gamers will be able to create gardens in a variety of environments, snapping photos to showcase their handiwork using the in-game camera.

My Garden will also take full advantage of the hardware's considerable potential, offering visuals which literally burst from the screen in glasses-free 3D, as well as microphone and motion control support.

Rod Humble of EA Play said: "We hope to offer a game that's so immersive that it truly brings the delight of owning a garden to life through a visually stunning 3D experience."

The game will be one of the launch titles for the new 3DS, which is currently slated to be released at some point before March 2011.
