Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 get new content

Acclaimed developer BioWare has invited fans of its acclaimed role-playing adventures Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 to expand their gameplay experience with brand new content.

The gamemaker has launched the Witch Hunt downloadable expansion for Dragon Age on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, while Xbox 360 and PC owners can grab the Lair of the Shadow Broker episode for Mass Effect 2.

In Witch Hunt, fans of the fantasy series will be able to find out the fate of the mysterious Morrigan in an adventure set a year after the events of the main game.

Meanwhile, Lair of the Shadow Broker sees gamers reunite with their old alien ally Liara T'Soni to track down a mysterious underworld informant.

BioWare Edmonton general manager Aaryn Flynn said: "Both Witch Hunt and Lair of the Shadow Broker represent our commitment to keeping the game worlds alive with high-quality content, even post-launch."

The Dragon Age franchise is set to reach out to new fans next year with an action-packed sequel, Dragon Age 2, while Mass Effect 2 will also be branching out with a PlayStation 3 edition.
