Critically-lauded action-adventure Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has been named as the greatest PlayStation game ever in a new poll.
Readers of Official PlayStation Magazine have rated Naughty Dog's globetrotting PlayStation 3 title to be the best game ever to feature on PlayStation hardware, in a poll conducted to mark the 15th anniversary of the iconic console brand.
In doing so, it beat off competition from all-time classic PlayStation favourites such as Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII.
The multi-award winning title follows the continuing adventures of wisecracking treasure hunter Nathan Drake, who is led on an action-packed quest to the lost kingdom of Shangri-La.
Ben Wilson, editor of Official PlayStation Magazine, said Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a game which has everything, including fun and innovative gameplay, a range of multiplayer options and a witty, memorable hero.
He said: "It's the complete videogame and much deserving of the top spot."
