First launched back in 2000, the Sims allows players to control virtual people and create a life for them.
Now data from NPD indicates that The Sims: Freetime topped the US PC charts in the week ending March 22nd.
This expansion pack allows gamers to give their Sims hobbies, including dance, fitness, cooking, music, sports, science, gaming, and others.
Second in the chart was The Sims 2 Deluxe, a compilation pack that includes The Sims 2 itself, along with The Sims 2: Nightlife and a bonus DVD.
Other big sellers in the US include Sins of a Solar Empire, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Soulstorm.
