EA teams up with H&M for Sims expansion pack

Electronic Arts has teamed up with high street fashion retailer H&M for the latest The Sims 2 expansion packs.

With The Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff and The Sims 2 H&M Fashion Runway packs, players can create their own clothing for their virtual Sims avatars, as well as check out the brand's own designs.

As well as this, users can create their own H&M retail environments and build an H&M store.

"Marrying a fashion-forward company with a game and community recognised around the world for their user-generated content will allow people to reflect their personalities and express their creativity," said H&M's global brand development president, Steve Seabolt.

"We couldn't imagine a more perfect match. Fashion inspires creativity in the same way videogames do."

The Sims franchise has been running for seven years, and is one of the most popular gaming series on the PC.

The games are sold in 22 different languages.
