Publisher Eidos has reminded gamers that Batman has returned to game stores with an all-new 3D-enhanced version of the award-winning hit Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Batman: Arkham Asylum - Game of the Year Edition has just been launched on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and once again sees the Dark Knight battling his way through the titular madhouse to foil his nemesis the Joker's latest diabolical scheme.
The new version of the game literally adds a whole new dimension to the experience, using TriOviz 3D technology and a bundled set of special glasses to bring the game's gothic world to life.
Other extra features exclusive to the Game of the Year set include six new challenge maps, allowing gamers to test their combat and stealth skills in new environments such as Crime Alley and the fantastical Scarecrow Nightmare.
The comic book adventure has been showered in critical adulation since making its debut last year, winning the prestigious best game award at the 2010 GAME British Academy Video Games Awards earlier this month.
