Acclaimed PlayStation 3 action game Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has been honoured with seven nominations at the upcoming Game Developers Choice Awards.
The awards body gave Naughty Dog's adventure sequel more nods than any other game, based on votes cast by more than 500 professionals from all sectors of the gaming industry.
These included a place on the shortlist for Game of the Year, as well as nominations for honours such as Best Game Design, Best Visual Art and Innovation.
Should it win the top prize, it will follow on from its success at the recent 2009 Spike Video Game Awards, where it won the Best Game gong along with two other prizes.
The hit game follows the globe-trotting adventures of charismatic fortune-hunter Nathan Drake as he looks to unravel an ancient mystery.
Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed II is also set to be another major player at the ceremony in March 2010, scoring four nominations of its own, including one for Game of the Year.
