Data trackers GfK Australia has revealed that the Ensemble Studios-developed real-time strategy game maintained top spot for the week ending March 8th.
Wii Fit has surged back into second spot with Killzone 2 ending the week in third position, one place lower than the previous week.
Despite only being available to gamers for four days, Empire: Total War sold enough copies to debut in fourth spot, ahead of Mario Kart Wii, which climbed one place to fifth.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl returns from a chart exodus of three weeks to settle in sixth position, while there were also top ten finishes for the likes of Guitar Hero: World Tour and Street Fighter IV.
Meanwhile, Empire: Total War recently became the first title on the PC since October 2007 to top the UK gaming chart, after strong opening week sales.
