Halo Wars top again in Australia

Halo Wars has made it two weeks at the head of the latest gaming chart in Australia, holding off the challenge of the resurgent Wii Fit to remain on top.

Data trackers GfK Australia has revealed that the Ensemble Studios-developed real-time strategy game maintained top spot for the week ending March 8th.

Wii Fit has surged back into second spot with Killzone 2 ending the week in third position, one place lower than the previous week.

Despite only being available to gamers for four days, Empire: Total War sold enough copies to debut in fourth spot, ahead of Mario Kart Wii, which climbed one place to fifth.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl returns from a chart exodus of three weeks to settle in sixth position, while there were also top ten finishes for the likes of Guitar Hero: World Tour and Street Fighter IV.

Meanwhile, Empire: Total War recently became the first title on the PC since October 2007 to top the UK gaming chart, after strong opening week sales.
