The Traveller's Tales (TT) title held off the likes of Mario Kart Wii and Professor Layton and the Curious Village to win the gong.
Speaking after the announcement, TT head of production Jonathan Smith stated that that his company was "delighted" to be recognised for its hard work.
He said: "We're absolutely delighted; it's a very special night for us and the whole team.
"To get this acknowledgement, here in our home country of the UK, to be acknowledged by the British Academy for the work that everyone's done on Lego Batman, was really thrilling for everyone."
Lego Batman isn't the only title of the franchise created by TT, with Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga also hitting the market this year, since the company was taken over by Warner a year ago.
The event was hosted by Keith Chegwin, while there were also appearances by Geri Halliwell, Rachel Stevens and new James Bond girl Gemma Arterton.
