The earlier you pre-order upcoming openworld zombie parkour romp Dying Light, the more exclusive new weapons you'll earn, developer Techland has revealed.
The game, from the same studio that created Dead Island, finds you scavenging for survival items during the daylight hours, using rooftops and climbing skills to keep out of reach of the undead crowds. At night, you'll have to fortify your defences against counter attacks from the same creatures, who are more aggressive and move faster in the darkness.
So the more weapons you have, the better. To get your hands on bonus weaponry ahead of time, you'll need proof of your order and the details for your PSN, Xbox Live or Steam account. Register your pre-order at the special website dockets.dyinglightgame.com and you'll start receiving dockets that can be traded in for weapons in the game when it comes out. Naturally, the quicker you register, the more time you'll have to earn dockets. The earlier you pre-order, the more dockets you get, the more bonus weapons you'll be able to unlock.
You'll need to get your skates on, however, as the game comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 27 January so you've got just over a month to earn that arsenal.
