Bungie is already hard at work on The Dark Below, the first expansion for its best-selling FPS MMO RPG hybrid, Destiny, and has told fans that their feedback and experiences in the core game will help to shape any new content.
We are the new Bungie, said community manager David Deej Dague speaking on the dedicated Guardians of Destiny podcast. Were the Bungie that shipped Destiny and that has changed us.
He also referred to the numerous tweaks and updates that have been rolled out since the game launched, helping to balance and improve the game based on player feedback. If you look at how many times we have updated this game, you can see how many things we have learned from our game and how many thing we have been willing to change about our game, he explained. Were very deliberately taking action on how the game can be stronger, or more stable, or more diverse in the way you are all powerful.
Dague said that Bungie is putting the finishing touches on The Dark Below right now. It's expected to be released in December.
Destiny, of course, is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
