LittleBigPlanet 3 will be a Fry and Laurie reunion

LittleBigPlanet 3 features Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie

LittleBigPlanet narrator Stephen Fry will return for Little BigPlanet 3, and will be joined by an old friend. The QI host will share vocal duties in the PlayStation exclusive with his old comedy partner Hugh Laurie, who will play the game's villain, Newton.

A devoted technophobe, Laurie admits he was surprised to find he was sharing the bill with his friend. “The strange thing is, I did not know until I got here that he was the narrator,” says Laurie in the game's new voiceover trailer. “But it was completely delightful to think that he's on the other end of this as the all-wise, all-seeing and all-knowing narrator. And how he'd love to be described as those things, because he is, of course.”

The pair were famous in the 1980s for their A Bit of Fry & Laurie sketch show, as well as for their appearances in Blackadder. Laurie famously moved to America, where he became a TV legend thanks to his starring role in the long-running medical drama, House.

Fry and Laurie will be joined in the game by Peter Serafinowicz (Shaun of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy), Simon Greenall (I'm Alan Partridge), Tara Strong (Ben 10) and the ubiquitous Nolan North (Uncharted).

LittleBigPlanet 3 will be out for PlayStation 4 on 21 November.
