Spidey swings back into cinemas this spring in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and naturally there'll be a game to go along with it.
Once again developed by Beenox, the studio that gave us the excellent Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, Spider-Man: Edge of Time and the game of the first Amazing Spider-Man movie, the new game will take place in an openworld New York City that is more detailed and interactive than ever before.
There will be story missions, as you try to track down the man who murdered poor old Uncle Ben while coping with villains such as Electro, Kraven and Rhino, but you'll also have to make time to keep the city as safe as possible. Go out of your way to stop muggings and other minor crimes and the citizens will cheer you on. Let crime get out of hand, and they'll see you as a selfish menace. Sometimes you'll have to take to the streets as plain Peter Parker in order to sniff out clues. You'll also be able to upgrade Spidey's webshooters, allowing you to use different kinds of webbing in combat to freeze or blow objects up.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be out on May 2nd for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, 3DS and PC. And Only at GAME you can get the Web Threads Edition containing four alternate costumes: the Iron Spider Suit, the Cosmic Spider-Man Suit, the Noir Suit, and the Black Suit.
