Supernatural mystery adventure Murdered: Soul Suspect will be coming to next generation consoles, according to publisher Square Enix.
The game casts the player as a detective who gets thrown from a window and dies during an investigation. That's not the end of the game, thankfully, as you continue in ghostly form and try to solve your own murder.
It's an ingenious concept, and you'll have a full range of spooky powers to help you out along the way. As a phantom you're able to walk through walls, and can also possess characters and manipulate them into revealing vital information. You won't be able to directly control other people, but must instead use the info you've already gathered to place thoughts in their head that will prompt them to do what you want. Of course, you'll also have all the skills of a detective as well, allowing you to poke around in crime scenes and piece together clues.
The game was announced in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The Xbox One edition was revealed by Square Enix on Tuesday morning, with the PlayStation 4 version officially confirmed later that day. All versions of the game will arrive in June.
