Telltale Games has taken to the official US PlayStation blog to announce that the second season of its brilliant and award winning Walking Dead adventure series will begin this year. The game will consist of five downloadable episodes and will run into 2014.
Most interestingly, community lead Laura Perusco also reveals that the main character will be Clementine, the young girl you protected throughout the first emotionally harrowing season.
"We can confirm today that The Walking Dead: Season Two - A Telltale Games Series continues Clementine's story," Perusco posted. "Not only will you see Clem again, you'll actually be playing as her, struggling to outwit both the dead and the living in situations that will test your morals and shape the flow of the story through your decisions and actions."
The post also announces a special budget priced Game of the Year edition compilation of the first season, including the bonus chapter, 400 Days, and extra "making of" content. This comes to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next month.
