Titanfall, the mech-based multiplayer shooter from Respawn Entertainment, has been given a release date and it's not as far away as you might think. March 14th is the day you need to circle on the calendar, when the game hits the UK for PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Titanfall pits the well-armed forces of the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation against an aggressive rebel militia. Both sides have access to hulking mech suits known as Titans, and you'll be able to swap between soldiering on foot and piloting these machines at will. Respawn is the company set up by the creators of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which explains the rather feverish anticipation surrounding the title.
Publisher EA has also unveiled a Collector's Edition of the game, containing a sturdy 18 inch Titan statue with working lights, a 190 page art book showing the visual development and evolution of the game, and a poster schematic of the Atlas Titan. Expect these to disappear fast, so preorder if you want one.
