Marvel Comics action shooter Deadpool will somersault onto UK shelves on June 28th, according to publisher Activision.
The game is based on the cult anti-hero character who is very aware that he's the star of a comic book and frequently breaks the fourth wall to address the reader. He'll do the same in the video game, which is being developed by High Moon Studios, creator of the rather excellent Transformers games, Fall of Cybertron and War for Cybertron.
Order Deadpool from GAME and you'll get some extra goodies in the shape of the Merc with a Map Pack. This features two new Challenge Mode maps, GRT Plaza and Inside the Tower, and two bonus costumes, D-Pooly and Uncanny X-Force, that can be used in the leaderboard-based Infinite mode.
Deadpool will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
