Konami has announced plans to introduce downloadable content for its recent action game NeverDead on February 21st 2012.
The NeverDead Expansion Pack Volume 1 will introduce new gameplay challenges set within the expanded Asylum level, as well as a bonus multiplayer character and new costumes.
Gamers will be able to take part in a competitive Fragile Alliance race through the map or slaughter their way across the level in Onslaught mode, while Egg Hunt sees them scouring the environment for collectables.
Meanwhile, the DLC pack also unlocks charismatic pop star Nikki Summerfield as a playable character in the game's online cooperative challenges.
NeverDead is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and was developed in collaboration between Konami and the UK's Rebellion Software.
The game casts players in the role of Bryce Boltzmann, a jaded demon-hunting agent whose curse of immortality allows him to detach and reassemble parts of his own body to gain strategic advantages.
