EA Sports has revealed that its eagerly awaited snowboarding series revival SSX will feature a soundtrack packed with hits from big-name artists.
The gamemaker has licensed a total of 36 tracks from established and upcoming artists to feature in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title, with contributing musicians including Foster the People, The Naked and Famous and DJ Shadow.
Pretty Lights will be contributing a remix of It's Tricky, the franchise's signature theme tune by Run-DMC, while ten original songs from the likes of The Qemists, Camo & Krooked and Raffertie are also included.
Steve Schnur, worldwide executive of music and music marketing at EA, said: "The songs on this new soundtrack cover ground from indie rock, dubstep, hip-hop, drum and bass and beyond."
Fans will also be able to upload their own music to their console hard drives in order to create their own custom soundtracks.
SSX will be released at the beginning of next month and will be the first new entry in the series for five years.
