The stand will be included free with all copies of the game and can be used to balance the 3DS system at an angle on any flat surface, making it easier for them to take full advantage of the game's control scheme.
In Kid Icarus: Uprising, players control angelic hero Pit using the Circle Pad, while using the stylus and Touch Screen to precisely control their aim and direction, whether on foot or in flight.
The game also offers support for the new Circle Pad Pro accessory, which lets left-handed players hold the stylus in their stronger hand while using the additional right-hand Circle Pad for movement.
Kid Icarus: Uprising will be released in March 2012 and will be the first new instalment in the classic series since the release of Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters on Game Boy way back in 1991.
Blending aerial combat and on-foot action, it features a robust single-player story and online multiplayer modes.
