Just Dance 3

Ubisoft's mega-strutting sequel, Just Dance 3, touches down on the PlayStation 3, and packs its own set of individual Moves for folk to shake a leg to...

Rewind a few years, and switching on your console in the middle of a party for 'fun and games' would have been greeted with coats being collected as everyone vanished to the nearest pub to discuss your tragic lack of social skills. Nowadays, thanks to the dance genre, that's all changed. And in part, it's down to Just Dance, a series that Ubisoft has made a big song (but mainly) dance about being the biggest boogie brand in the world.

And it's not hard to see why Just Dance 3 on the PS3 packs a lot into its spandex pants for hip-thrusting show-offs to bop along to. First there's the music selection; from 80s classics such as 2 Unlimited's 'No Limit' and A-ha's 'Take On Me' through to more contemporary tracks such as the camp classic 'Barbra Streisand' by Duck Sauce and Scissor Sisters's 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin'', there's something here to suit all tastes (no matter how good/bad they are).

Then there are the game modes themselves with onscreen day-glo silhouettes of real-life dancers to whirl along with, you can nuke your Christmas calorie count with the Just Sweat mode, spool the music until the wee hours in the endless Party mode or indulge in Just Dance's newest addition, the four-player mode; grab a Move and off you go, each of you trying to out-dance each other at the same time.

As slick as ever and featuring over 50 tracks, Just Dance 3 shows it can still pack a dance/living room floor while making the most of the Playstation Move in the process. Cock-ups, bruised toes and serious dents to your self-esteem guaranteed!
