GAME Reward Terms and Conditions Changes

Use your Reward account within 12 months to keep your points active.

Changes to GAME Reward terms and conditions - with effect from 20/05/2016 we're making a change to clause 26 of the terms and conditions that govern the GAME Reward scheme. At the moment that clause says that Reward points expire if the account isn't used within 18 months of the last transaction. That'll be changing so that Reward points expire 12 months after the last transaction.

From 20/05/2016, clause 26 of the Game Reward terms and conditions will say:

"26. If an Account Holder has not used their GAME Reward account for a period of 12 months or more, their GAME Reward account balance may be reset to zero. Where this occurs Game may continue to hold your details unless you ask us to delete them. Account Holders are entitled to apply to have their GAME Reward account reactivated and GAME may, at its discretion, re-award any points which were held in the Account Holder's account at the time the account was zeroed. Re-instatement will not however be possible if you have asked us to delete your details."

This means that Reward account holders who haven't used their account for 12 months or more on 20/05/2016 will have any points in their account expire when the change to the terms comes into effect. The vast majority of Reward account holders use their points well within 12 months, so this will only affect a small number of account holders. We'll be emailing everyone affected by this change so that they can use their account before 20/05/2016 to keep their Reward points if they want to.

Please note that even if your points expire, your Reward account remains active and usable unless you tell us that you no longer want it.
